The JUKI AMB-289 is a programmable multi-function bartacking machine that stores and executes multiple reinforcement stitch patterns in a single machine. Belt loops, pocket corners, fly stitching and stress-point reinforcement — each requiring a different bartack shape and density — can be programmed and recalled instantly, eliminating retooling between garment styles. For factories producing multiple garment types throughout the day, the AMB-289 provides the pattern flexibility of a computer-controlled tacker with the speed and reliability of JUKI engineering.
Stores multiple bartack patterns (shape, size, density) for instant recall — enabling rapid changeover between garment styles needing different bartack specifications without retooling or machine adjustment time.
Electronic control allows precise programming of bartack width, length and stitch density for each stored pattern — ensuring the correct reinforcement is applied to each application point regardless of operator skill.
Thread trimming after each bartack eliminates manual cutting — speeding up cycle time and ensuring clean, consistent thread tail lengths on all reinforcement points for a professional garment finish.
Servo drive enables high-speed pattern execution — completing each bartack in a fraction of the time required by standard lock-stitch bartack operations, maximising productivity on belt loops, pockets and fly stitching.
